Three of the island's Top 10 Attractions are within walking distance of Sunset Point Villa : Taylor Bay Beach, Sapodilla Bay Beach, and Chalk Sound.
Located on the shores of Providenciales, this 4,000 sq/ft vacation rental looks like two houses, but it's all one spacious villa under two roofs. Surrounded by half an acre of lush landscaping and turquoise waters, Sunset Point Villa features four air-conditioned bedroom suites with king or queen beds, five baths, and wide wraparound decks.
Compare the price of four oceanfront rooms at a Turks & Caicos resort with the rates for Sunset Point Villa, and you’ll be surprised at how much money you’ll save. Not to mention the space and privacy you'll enjoy!
With spectacular, unobstructed ocean views from every room in the house, Sunset Point Villa is aptly named as the perfect place to experience those incredible Caribbean sunsets.
Take a dip in your own private pool, or step down into the crystal clear ocean off of the ocean dock. You'll find the water is shallow (about 3 to 4 feet deep) and typically calm, perfect for swimming and playing. There's a convenient snorkeling spot right next to the villa. And the sugar white sand of child-friendly Taylor Bay Beach is just a short three minute stroll away! See why The NY Times suggests, 'For a family-friendly spot, hit Taylor Bay. Its crescent-shaped beach offers calm and shallow water that is perfect for kids.'
The inviting master bedroom suite is located on the upper story of the main house. Open the shutters on the suite's gallery window, and you've got an unrivaled view of the ocean! The adjoining wing of this Turks and Caicos villa rental, connected by covered decks, includes three spacious bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. The over-sized second floor King Palm Suite has a king bed, sleeper sofa, and two queen beds in the open sleeping loft.

Use of the tennis courts at close-by Taylor Bay Beach comes complimentary with this vacation villa rental. Or hit the links at Provo Golf and Country Club, Turks and Caicos' championship 18-hole golf course, about a 20 minute drive away.
This villa is perfect. Close to the airport, beautiful setting, easy swim or walk to Taylor Bay, spacious well-kept house, bigger-than-most swimming pool, well-stocked kitchen, very helpful staff. We are going back next year.
Where to begin...simply awesome! Our family spent a week at Sunset Point Villa in Provo and in all ways our expectations were far exceeded! The villa is fully equipped--from the kitchen to the dock! Many of the other reviews found here are accurate with regards to amenities and comfort. The air and water temps even in January were perfect! Taylor Bay beach is both beautiful and serene. The sand is as soft as confectionary sugar! We were content floating to Taylor Bay beach each day, snorkeling by the rocks and hanging out by the pool. The Villa is well equipped with floats, tubes, pool toys and snorkeling gear! We rented jet skis for a 2-hour window and had them delivered right to the dock - not only a blast but super convenient! We prepared most meals right at the Villa and the kitchen is fully equipped, including a good size Weber gas grill! We did check out a few restaurants worth mentioning - Las Brisas, right up from the Villa and Mr Grouper's Restaurant, which was a little bit of a drive and off the beaten path, however a great little find. Couple warnings - don't charter a fishing boat until you arrive and determine if the fish are running! Apparently when it's been windy or stormy the fish run and hide! Unfortunately, rather than the boat captain suggesting our guys reschedule, he took their $1300...and consequently, they didn't have a single bite! Towards the end of the week (as the fishing improved), the native boaters were coming right to our dock with freshly caught lobsters - just be prepared to negotiate. We paid $50/4 lobsters! Only a couple observations I made with regards to potential Villa improvements - a kayak would be a great addition (though perhaps a safety issue). And, perhaps child safe deck railings all around - seems it may be super easy for a small child (1-4 years old) to fall through the deck rails. This was by far the best family vacation ever! Looking forward to coming back to T&C; and staying at the Sunset Point Villa!
Book this Villa it is fantastic!! Excellent location facing south west. 5000 sq ft and easily accommodated 8 of us no problem. It was one of the most well stocked houses I have ever rented. Plenty of towels in bathrooms and tons of beach towels. Kitchen had plenty of cutlery, plates ,etc, and with a brand new Weber BBQ it was a pleasure to cook in. Also staff leaves all previous non perishable food from previous renters which is nice as you don't have to buy everything all over again. Lots of patio furniture for everyone. Well equipped in terms of air mattresses and flippers. However no body wash or shampoo provided so bring your own. Lack of central air no problem as there are plenty of sliding doors in every room as well as louvred windows and cross breezes. There are unit air conditioners in each room however ,so only a few nights we turned it on for 30 minutes. I would recommend renting a car. Especially as we went out for dinner most of the week. The sand fleas got to a few of us .We called the property managers and they promptly had the bushes in the back sprayed by a pest company within hours. Quick service. We were very comfortable and happy with Sunset Point. Considering square footage and location it was most reasonable in price compared with other nearby villas.
Absolutely stunning villa in an even more stunning location. Villa is well kept with a ton of space for our group of 7. We had such easy access to Taylor and Sapodilla Bay. Enjoyed snorkeling, swimming in the crystal clear pool overlooking the idyllic waters of the Caribbean. Sunsets were amazing. Only a 3 minute walk to Chalk Sound. Also very close to a stellar restaurant called Las Brisas. A must try when visiting. I have been to some of the most beautiful tropical places in the world including Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Rarotonga, Aitutaki and Dominican Republic, and this visit at Sunset Point easily competed with them all for beauty. I can't wait to return to this place.
Eight of us came to this beautiful villa for our first trip to Turks & Caicos. The food and drinks were a bit expensive on the island, but the house and its amenities made up for this. We enjoyed everything about this wonderful villa, especially the fantastic views from all rooms, and the exquisite pool area and dock. It was nice to have the music available around the pool and a selection of movies for the late night crowd. The sunsets lived up to our expectations, and that beautiful aqua-blue, warm water exceeded our expectations. We were pleased with the visit we received explaining the various home features, suggestions for restaurants, island spots suggested to visit, and more. We also thought the cleaning crew did a fantastic job during the mid-week cleaning. The Scuba Diving on French Cay was wonderful. The food everywhere we dined was very good to superb. We hope to visit your lovely home again some day.
If you are going to stay in Turks and the hassel of the touristy area is not for you: this is your spot. The sunset is amazing and it has plenty of room. Great place that words can not describe.
This house was the perfect paradise with everything you would ever need and more. The location does not get better then this. We sat on the dock everyday enjoying the views and the fish that you can see crystal clear in the water. You can walk thru the water to get to Taylor Bay just around the corner. Taylor bay is Turks and Caicos best kept secret. The kitchen was fully stocked with every amenity you needed. It is a great house for four people or 10 people, it would be comfortable no matter what because of it size. The pool was like a jacuzzi temperature. There are quality floats for the ocean or pool. The lighting at night is perfect, we had a 3ft fish that visited every night not sure what is was but we named him George. We did not have a bad meal anywhere on the island. Go to the the conch shack on Thursday night for some local music. Brasi's right down the street is great food. Tiki hut in turtle cove marina has good food. We went on a fishing charter paradise tours was awesome!!! We caught Wahoo, Mahi Mahi's and Tuna. When we got back to the dock, they cleaned the fish and we had tiki hut prepare us all the different fish different ways, AWESOME. They charged us $15 a person to cook all that fish. Island Vibes with Shawn is a great snorkeling trip. Make sure to ask for Shawn. We rented a car thru Grace Bay Rentals was reasonable prices with no hassle. The casino is a rinky dink place but something to do at night. The hardest part of the trip was seeing all the stray dogs. We must of spent $200 of dog food and treats while we were there, we thru it out the windows like newspapers. There is a group cal TCSPCA there that does a wonderful job placing the dogs in US and Canada, Consider a donation to them to help the population also get spayed and neutered. They call the dogs Potcakes, read the story about it in the local magazines. There is a stray cat that is at the house, the notes from previous guests say to please feed the cat, that's up to you I guess. We have already booked our trip back next year, can't wait!!!
Just returned from a fabulous stay at Sunset Point Villa. The location of the villa could not be more perfect! It's a short walk (in the water or on the path) to Taylor Bay beach, which is perfect for kids because the water is shallow. If you rent kayaks or paddleboards (we rented both from Big Blue Unlimited, which delivered them to the house), you can paddle up to Sapodilla Bay, which is also a magnificent beach. We also paddled to a shipwreck just beyond Sapodilla bay, where we snorkeled and explored. The tennis courts, hard surface, are along the same path from the house to Taylor Bay beach and are in nice condition. The deck of the house is spectacular, with flowers and palm trees, and the sunset views are priceless. The house is extremely well-equipped. There's a stereo with indoor and outdoor speakers, a collection of over 100 CD's, a big screen TV with cable and a DVD collection of about 80 movies, a Weber propane grill, two refrigerators (great for keeping water and beer cold at all times) a washer/dryer and every kitchen amenity you could ask for (coffee bean grinder and Cuisinart coffee maker, dishwasher, etc). We also enjoyed volleyball in the pool - pool floats and beach chairs are also provided. A second floor hammock is the perfect place for a nap! The house is very well maintained. A cleaning lady appeared mid-week, as did the pool maintenance crew to keep the pool crystal clear. It's about a 15 minute drive to the IGA supermarket, which is huge and has everything we have at home, though the prices are predictably higher. They even have a decent selection of wine and liquor at the IGA. The smaller Quality Market is closer but not as well stocked - good for staples, water, milk and the like. We spent one morning sailing with SailProvo. The catamaran took us to Iguana Island, which has a short trail/boardwalk from which you can spot the Iguanas. We then snorkeled for an hour and sailed to a quiet beach for a BBQ and a swim. We found better snorkeling at Smith's Reef. We also rented Jet Skis one afternoon at Sapodilla Bay. Look for a guy named Mark who has a pickup truck and a cute dog named Winston. He rents the Jet Skis for $150/hr. He also sells Conch shells, if you're looking for a souvenier. This is a great house in an ideal location.
Just got back from 7 day (March 16 to March 23rd). stay at this very beautiful villa. We shared it with 3 other couples. Sandy did the booking and the rest of us just packed our suitcases. Peter rented us 2 vans from Grace Way car rentals. Julian (property manager) meet us at the airport. He drove ahead of us to the villa. But stopped first at the Quality food mart to get provisions to tie us over until the next day. It was a short drive to the villa. Very nice indeed! It was dark when we got to the villa. Julian pointed out where and how things worked on the property. There was a fresh fruit basket and chips , nachos for us. These were much appreciated and totally consumed! The villa is everything you see in the pictures and then some. There was plenty of lounge chairs and deck chairs. I was glad to see they provided us with around 20 beach towels, water toys, rafts for the pool. PLUS lots of snorkel gear. This place is sooo amazing. Going to the right of the dock (waters about 4 feet deep, there are several small reefs. We walked (in the water)to the next bay- Taylor beach bay. Very quiet beach. There was only about 10 people there. While snorkeling around in front of the villa we found a HUGE seastar. My room was in the guesthouse and it had a loft. The decor was very islandish. I loved it. Very spacious. Standing out on the balcony one very calm afternoon, I saw saw 2 string rays swim by. My hubby was quick to get a photo. We had our own Surf and Turf. The IGA had huge lobster tails and steak. Yes the villa even has a new Weber barbecue. It was a great dinner. We ate out the remainder of our stay. My hubby bought some Red Snapper and 2 spinney lobsters. We ate these for breakfast. The only negative to this place is the No-See-ems. There was 2 of us who had bad reaction to these bites. One would blister up in minutes. I took benadryle cream with me. It helped a little. But will take the pills with me as well next time. By the 3rd day we called and they sent out someone right away to do the spraying. It was much better after that. Overall it was a great place to visit and a fabulous villa to stay at. I've always wanted to do this. So now I can cross it off my list!
